Join us for a powerful day of service as Golden Community partners with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build and deliver beds for local children in need across Greater Cincinnati.
You, your family, coworkers, church group, or friends — all are invited to join Golden Community, the nonprofit division of Golden Technology, for our most meaningful event of the year: Serve Cincinnati.
A hands-on volunteer event where we’ll build beds for local kids in need, in partnership with the Cincinnati Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), a national nonprofit ensuring “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.”
You’ll work alongside other passionate volunteers to turn stacks of raw lumber into fully assembled, ready-to-deliver bunk beds. No tools or experience necessary. Just bring your energy and a heart to serve.

Morning Session: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Between sessions, from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, all volunteers are invited to enjoy a catered lunch cookout, games, and entertainment as a thank-you for serving.
Too many children in our city are sleeping on floors or sharing beds. Golden Community is committed to serving the overlooked and underserved, and this build day helps provide comfort, dignity, and rest to children who need it most.
The Cincinnati Chapter of SHP runs one of the most effective and well-organized build programs in the country, making it easy for volunteers to jump in and make a difference, all while learning new skills, connecting with others, and having a great time.
